Health Care Advocate Program

WHP's Health Care Advocate (HCA) program is unique because all of our Health Care Advocates are nurses. A HCA will spend a designated number of hours on-site at your company each week, time and day to be determined by each individual company. Involving a HCA is most beneficial to corporate wellness programs because of the one-on-one quality of individual counseling those employees receive. HCAs can help companies emphasize quality-of-life issues. This will improve the likelihood that employees will begin implementing health-promoting behaviors as the result of workplace programming.

 

Additionally, the HCA will allow for companies to provide easy access to educational material, individual high-risk follow-ups and programming to its valued employees. Best of all, we would build those one-on-one relationships with your employees to improve their health risks—ultimately with a reduction in long-term health care expenses.
