http://www.ncqa.org Comprised of more than 100 public and private organizations that provide health care benefits, The Leapfrog Group works with medical experts throughout the U.S. to identify problems and propose solutions that it believes will improve hospital systems that could break down and harm patients. Leapfrog represents more than 31 million health care consumers in all 50 states.

http://www.cms.hhs.gov The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has several efforts in progress to provide hospital quality information to consumers and others and improve the care provided by the nation's hospitals. This page includes links to reports and other documents that describe these efforts in more detail.

http://www.achp.org Alliance of Community Health Plans promotes the highest standards of health quality and improvement through learning, innovation, and advocacy. ACHP includes 11 leading health plans, including M•Plan, that seek to transform health care so it is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
