Who is Eligible for Coverage?
The Employer Group size is recommended to be 50 or more covered by the group health plan. Actives are considered employees that are currently working—i.e. not retired. A Retiree is a former employee who is eligible for Group coverage and enrolled in or eligible for Medicare Part A & B. Retirees are not still working (or active). The size of the Retiree Group must be two or more.
